Originally built in 1910, The Thon Hotel Gildevangen is one of Trondheim's most distinctive historic hotels and is housed in rustic Gothic architecture. Only 300 meters from bus and train stations and just a short walk from Nidarosdomen Cathedral.
The 110 modern and spacious rooms were recently renovated creating a tranquil atmosphere and include large windows, high ceilings and the traditional décor is complemented by the earthy fabrics and antique style wood furnishings.
Between Monday and Thursday, guests are invited to enjoy a light evening meal. Start the day with a wakeup call from the 24 hour front desk, and be in time to enjoy the complimentary continental buffet breakfast.
The airport shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel.
